Revenues up by 50% for Interchange Group in 2016

The Interchange Group announced record results for 2016, with the number of worldwide customers rising above 3,300,000 and turnover increasing to more than €550,000,000.

In addition to these results, in the last quarter the Company negotiated a number of renewals of its international airport contracts. Alastair Holberton, CEO Interchange, commented:

„These 2016 results are good. In particular I was happy our airport partners were keen to renew our services in their airports for terms of up to ten years. This is testament to their satisfaction with our performance.”

2016 saw the launch of a revised and updated global Interchange website, which offers a fresh and modern look that is optimised for mobile phones and tablets and easily navigates customers across the whole site.

In the Czech Republic online currency ordering was implemented providing a highly competitive offering to its customers. Airport collection of currency is attractive in offering a secure and top value proposition to travellers.

Particularly strong growth was recorded throughout its Southern African and Central European operations. Total Group revenues rose by over 50%.
